How long is a team building event?
Most team sessions take about an hour. Larger pieces and longer formats run up to two hours, depending on the activity and group size.
Do team members need any art skills?
No. Everything is beginner-friendly and guided by our team.
Can you host offsite events?
Yes. Team building can be hosted in our Danville studio or brought to your office or venue, depending on the format.
Can we have our corporate holiday party at the studio?
Yes. Makers Art Studio Danville hosts work holiday parties for up to 30 guests at once, with larger groups by arrangement. A $150 deposit holds your date; tell us your food and drink plans when you book so we can set up for them. December dates go first, so book early.
Can the event be customized?
Yes. We can shape the art format, pacing, and event details around your team and occasion, from staff appreciation to client events and leadership retreats.
Is a deposit required, and what if plans change?
Yes. A $150 deposit holds your date and room and comes off your final bill. 14 or more days before, move your date once for free or keep the deposit as a credit; 3 to 13 days before, it becomes a credit toward a new date; less than 3 days before, it's kept. Your final headcount is due 7 days before.
Can a team smaller than 10 book?
Yes. Team packages start at 10 guests, but smaller teams are always welcome: book seats directly in any studio experience, one seat per guest. It's the same guided activity and take-home art.
When do we get our artwork?
Patch projects go home the same day. Fluid art pieces need 7 to 10 days to dry and resin pieces 3 to 5 days to cure; we'll tell you when they're ready. Please collect them within 30 days.
How far ahead should we book a team event?
Book 2 to 4 weeks ahead when you can, and earlier for holiday parties and weekend dates. For a last-minute date, call or text (925) 266-4845.
How close is the studio to San Ramon, Walnut Creek and Concord?
Makers Art Studio Danville is at 3478C Camino Tassajara, Danville, with free parking. It's about 7 minutes from Blackhawk, 9 from San Ramon, 16 from Alamo, 24 from Walnut Creek and 32 from Concord outside rush hour, and we can also bring the event to your office.
